Ms.Figgy, M.Ed
Founder and Educational Therapist
Ms. Figgy attended and graduated from New York University in four years. During her time there, she was on the Dean’s List every year for outstanding grades and high academic performance.
Following graduation, she immediately returned to school to begin her training as a teacher. At Loyola Marymount University, Ms. Figgy earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential while working full-time as an elementary school teacher.
In the years that followed, she acquired lifetime status as a Credentialed California Teacher. Hungry for more knowledge, Ms. Figgy went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from George Washington University. Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she developed a deeper understanding of education law, school leadership, and systems that support student success.
Ms. Figgy has worked in schools throughout the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Los Angeles. Much of her time was spent supporting students who had fallen behind academically and needed targeted instruction to catch up with their peers.
Through this work, she developed a strong ability to identify students’ academic needs, design individualized learning plans, and implement strategies that lead to meaningful academic growth and confidence in the classroom.
Continuing her commitment to professional growth, Ms. Figgy recently earned her College Counseling Certificate from UCLA Extension, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She is also currently completing her training in Educational Therapy through the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Ms. Figgy is a Los Angeles native who works with families across the city and currently serves many students in the West Los Angeles area. She prides herself on being a thoughtful partner and clear communicator with families. Ms. Figgy believes learning should be engaging and empowering for students and values strong collaboration with parents, teachers, and schools.

Motivated by his challenging yet transformative experiences as a first-generation college graduate, Mr. Easter is passionate about education access and equity, rectifying achievement gaps in K-12 education, and inspiring students to find value in their unique backgrounds.
After graduating from Virginia Tech magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Mr. Easter began his career in admissions at Dartmouth College. Post Dartmouth, he spent time nurturing young minds as an elementary school teacher in Washington, DC and Oakland, CA. He later returned to the realm of higher education as an admissions manager for the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Inspired by the driven and tenacious students he met during his time in education, Mr. Easter later received his MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Currently, he works at Bank of America as an Employee Relations Consultant in New York City.
To date, Mr Easter has also served as a seasonal admissions reader for UC Berkeley, Boston University, Cornell, University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Chicago. He is looking forward to helping your students find the university that best suits their needs and aspirations!

Philip Nicoll graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, earning a 3.97 GPA. During his time there, he was recognized as a CSU Trustees Awardee (1 of 27,000 students), a SIAM Scholarship Recipient, a Keith Soon Kim College of Science Scholar, and an NSF SPIRES Research Scholar.
With a strong foundation in multivariable calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics, and proof-based mathematics, Philip combines technical depth with a highly intuitive teaching style. He emphasizes visual demonstrations, structured problem-solving, and minimizing frustration so that students build both confidence and genuine understanding.
In addition to tutoring, Philip has led and contributed to advanced research projects in machine learning and computational mathematics, developing deep learning architectures and numerical methods for scientific applications. This background strengthens his ability to explain complex material clearly.
Philip works with students across a range of mathematics levels and prides himself on clear communication and thoughtful planning. He values strong partnerships with families and believes that steady progress comes from structure, clarity, and encouragement.
